Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup canned crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup diced onion
Instructions:
In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast
Let it sit for 5 minutes until it becomes foamy
Add flour, cornmeal, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture
Mix until a dough forms
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth
Divide the dough into mini pizza crusts and place them in greased muffin tins
In each mini pizza crust, layer mozzarella cheese, crushed tomatoes, oregano, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, pepperoni, black olives, green bell pepper, and onion
Bake at 375F 190C for 20-25 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving
